BBACF distributed Ration in Bewal, Gujar Khan Lock Down during covid19 continues to show its impact across the nation. Communities dependent on daily wages are practically in crisis. Despite of their determined efforts to find work, the lock down is preventing them to do so.  Widows responsible for their family units are helpless. Widows with children at home are desperately praying for the lock down to get over to get back to the work. Most of the widows of the region were working as maids and some of them were meeting their needs by operating as small entrepreneurial ventures such as stitching cloths, selling home made food or products at local market etc. Unaware of the larger picture of the global economic crisis, these women are only seeking food supplies for their children and themselves.  Disable community has not been getting best of the support even in normal scenarios. Covid19 has added difficulties in their living. Daily wagers among disable community are ad

World is trying to come to terms with this pandemic and working out on ways to design a future living. Rapid spread of covid19 across boarders brought the decision of stopping the travel of all types. This was thought to be a short term plan however that did not happen.  Among all others, there were millions of students across the world who got stuck in the countries where they were studying. Similar was the case for the students at International Islamic University Islamabad. More than 700 international students could not fly back to their homes despite of the discontinued study calendar. More over, month of Ramadan came which is usually the time for students to go back to their homes to enjoy the month of fasting along with the biggest festivity of Eid at the month end. Image
Oghi, Mansehra, Khyper Pakhtunkhawa Lock Down BBACF team was informed about a village by Mansehra, Khyber Pakhtunkhawa. Name of the village is Oghi. Similar to the other towns visited and supported by the team of BBACF, Oghi was not much different.  A Scenic village almost reaching the point to starve turned out to be hard call. It was at distance and weather was not much supportive. Heavy rain & thunderstorm with no light in village made the process of food packages way more complicated than anticipated.  Most of the daily wagers work in other parts of the country in construction industry. Covid19 lock down is no more an unfamiliar story for anyone around the globe. Residents of the remote village had returned to their home town couple of months back. No work with almost no savings brought the village to the point to seek help desperately.  BBACF team was fortunate enough to leave sufficient food supplies for the village to manage for a month time. As we a
