The unforgettable and probably not recoverable economic loss caused by Covid19 has left the coming times to remember year 2020 for very long time. One should work hard to meet the day to day life needs now a days. Numerous school of thoughts exist to blame the modern life style. We have heard, capitalism and consumerism as the basic culprit but suddenly the pandemic changed everything. 

People with all the intention and energy to work were stopped to earn the basic living. Lock down was witnessed across the globe and so was the case in Pakistan. Unfortunately, once again it was the lower income group which came under the worst of the stress. It was simple mathematics. Daily wagers earn and spend on day to day basis. Assets or savings are practically not the concepts in practice among the daily wagers. 

Sudden lock down with the assumption of maximum 7 days struck the lower income groups dependent on daily wages as a night mare. Things got worst when it got extended and as of 7th of May 2020, it still continues. Daily wagers have been struggling to meet the ends. Identified as the deserving community, BBACF worked on the lists of daily wagers in the neighborhoods. BBACF used multiple sources to gather the details of daily wagers. Market unions, small business unions, and certain NGOs helped BBACF in putting the details together. Once again the restrictions of Lock down and possible threat of Covid19 made the operations complicated but the need of the time was to deliver food supplies to the ones in need. 

BBACF started to provide the food supplies and as of date, still continues to do so. More than 2500 families with the description of daily wagers have been taken care of with the food supplies. Pakistani's have been great in generous support and contributions leading to the uninterrupted flow of food supplies to the families in need.
